Cilantro Sauce

- 2 cups cilantro
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño, seeded
- ¼ cup neutral oil, , such as vegetable or avocado
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt + more to taste
- water as needed *
In a food processor, blend cilantro, garlic, and jalapeño. Scrape down the sides and add the oil, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth or reached desired consistency. Add water one tablespoon at a time if desired.
Enjoy with tacos, quesadillas, as a dip, or a salad.
*If you prefer a liquid, dressing-like sauce, add 1 tablespoon of water a time. If you want a thicker sauce, add more cilantro.
Depending on your jalapeñp, the spice level may vary. Adjust according to your preference with more or less jalapeño.
