⭐ Benefits of Cilantro

Did you know some people have a gene that makes cilantro taste like soap to them? We feel bad for their taste buds missing out! Luckily, for the rest of us, cilantro is a great source of vitamins A and K (My dad used to always tell us it was good for your eyes...now I know why!), with studies showing it can help with pain and inflammation and aid in digestion.

This recipe only requires 7 ingredients that you probably have available in your fridge already!

  1. Cilantro

  7. Water

📖 How to Make Cilantro Sauce

It's made by blending fresh cilantro leaves with the following ingredients: garlic, lime juice, oil, and jalapeno for some extra spice. Use it as a sauce for tacos, mix it into rice or quinoa bowls, use it as a marinade for grilled tofu, or add it to sandwiches - the possibilities are endless.

Use any food processor, you'd like. I like mine slightly chunky so I use this mini food processor. If I want to blend it thoroughly or make a larger batch, I use my Vitamix.

Depending on your jalapeño, this can easily turn into a spicy cilantro lime sauce. You can adjust according to your spice level by decreasing or increasing the jalapeños.
